BAUSELE Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hours race.
On Saturday February 4th, BAUSELE, the watch company, organised a day trip for members of the Australian Watch Club and others to attend the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hours race at the famous Mt Panorama circuit. We were given an exclusive preview and presentation of the brand’s new Divers range and a special limited edition GMT watch, which was to be presented to the Class A Pro-Am winners of the race.
The Bathurst 12 Hour race at the Mt Panorama circuit is known for its high-octane action, and we were able to witness this firsthand on the BAUSELE day trip. The sound of internal combustion engines roaring and the screech of tires as the V8s and V10s attacked the track with full force was an incredible experience. The day began with a stop at the top of the mountain to witness the Red Bull F1 car speeding past, followed by a tour of the circuit that included a photo opportunity on the podium. We also toured the circuit and visited the pits, met Fraser Ross, the eventual Pro-Am Class winner, and the Sportsbet Audi team. Seeing the cars up close and to appreciate the skill and precision of the drivers as they navigated the challenging course was quite the experience. The speed and power of the cars were breathtaking, and being impressed with some incredible feats of driving as the drivers pushed themselves to the limit.
The experience was truly unforgettable, being immersed in the atmosphere of the race and able to take in all the sights and sounds of this iconic event. It was an opportunity to witness some of the world’s top drivers competing at the highest level, and to appreciate the incredible engineering and technology that goes into creating these racing machines.
